The penultimate round of the 2018 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship saw an epic battle for the 450 Class win, as Eli Tomac inched ever closer to his second straight title with his eighth win of the season, edging out Ken Roczen via tiebreaker. In the 250 Class, Aaron Plessinger became the newest recipient of the Gary Jones Cup after clinching his first career national championship. The overall winner for the day was another first-timer as well, as RJ Hampshire came away with his maiden professional victory.
