Roczen, Cooper On Top in Fox Raceway Qualifying

The 2019 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship has made its anticipated return to Pala, California, and a huge crowd is on hand to watch the world's best in action for the Lucas Oil Fox Raceway National.

On-track activity has been buzzing since the start of the morning with a pair to qualifying sessions for both the 450 Class and 250 Class. For the second straight week it was Team Honda HRC's Ken Roczen atop the 450 Class time sheets. Last week's winner and the current point leader posted a time of 2:07.107, which was just a few tenths quicker than Monster Energy Kawasaki's Eli Tomac. In the 250 Class, Monster Energy/Star/Yamaha Racing's Justin Cooper, a rider known for his qualifying prowess, laid down the fastest lap of all riders, in either class, with a blistering time of 2:06.917. That was nearly two seconds faster than point leader Adam Cianciarulo, who was second aboard his Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki.
