The Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship is back in action as it begins its first east coast swing of the season with the Circle K High Point National, which has become a Father's Day tradition and its rutted track conditions prove to be one of the most challenging rounds of the entire 2019 season.

At the conclusion of two qualifying sessions it was Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing's Jason Anderson who jumped to the top of the leaderboard. He posted the fastest lap for the first time in 2019 with a blistering 2:02.846, more than 0.6 seconds faster than Team Red Bull KTM's Marvin Musquin.

Over in the 250 Class, GEICO Honda's Chase Sexton earned his first-ever number-one qualifying with a time of 2:02.698, which he attributed to additional testing done with his team during the championship break. Sexton edged out Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki's Adam Cianciarulo by .22 of a second.
