Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing 250 Class rider Michael Mosiman will not be lining up at Round 6 of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship for the MB Tractor & Equipment Southwick National. During a routine practice day, Mosiman suffered a minor crash causing him to be sidelined for this weekend’s race. He will return to racing at the Circle K RedBud National on July 6th. Mosiman currently sits sixth in the 250 Class standings.
“I am especially disappointed with missing this round because I am so close in points to fourth and fifth place. My confidence does not waiver and I look forward to battling for podiums the rest of the season. I am thankful to God for the opportunity to have my greatest passion also be my job and I trust that somehow He will use this injury for good.”
Thus far, the 2019 season has been a breakout campaign for Mosiman. The California native has enjoyed the best results of his young career, including his first overall podium finish at the True Value Thunder Valley National. He's finished in the top 10 in all but two motos this summer, with an average finish of 6.7.
