Holeshot Replays: Washougal National

The Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship made its final visit to the west coast for Round 9 of the 2019 season, where the Pacific Northwest's legendary Washougal MX Park challenged riders throughout the afternoon at the Washougal National. The action was intense, and in the end Monster Energy Kawasaki's Eli Tomac and Monster Energy/Star/Yamaha Racing's Dylan Ferrandis walked away triumphant following drastically different fortunes off the start.

In today's landscape of American motocross, starts are arguably more important than they've ever been before, and nothing feels better than capturing the Holeshot. Starts are serious business, and grabbing the holeshot is the ultimate reward for a rider who took full advantage of his gate pick, reaction time, launch, upshifting, and clean entry and exit from the first turn.

Check out which riders prevailed at the head of the pack in each moto of the 450 Class and 250 Class with the Holeshot replays from Washougal.
