Lawrence Set to Return at Budds Creek

Just a few weeks removed from an injury prior to Washougal that left him sidelined for the past two rounds, GEICO Honda rider Hunter Lawrence announced on social media that he's set to return to action this weekend. The rookie to the U.S. series has been out with an injured collarbone, which required surgery to repair. Prior to the missed time, Lawrence had earned a pair of overall podium finishes, as well as a pair of moto wins.

It's an appropriate time for the Australian rider to get back into action as the team's sponsor also serves as the title sponsor of this weekend's GEICO Motorcycle Budds Creek National. His return also means that he'll have the opportunity to race alongside his younger brother, Jett, who made his professional debut with GEICO Honda just last weekend at Unadilla, finishing 13th overall with 21-8 moto scores.
