The family of Jonathan Mayzak has announced his Celebration of Life Service, and request that riders bring their bikes, gear and race jerseys, and accompany Jonathan by dirt bike to his final resting place.  Friends will be received from 5-7 pm on Saturday, August 24^th, with funeral services to be held at 3 pm on Sunday, August 25^th, at the Carolina Forest Community Church in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.  Our own Rev. Jake Vanada will official the service.  Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery.

The motocross community lost Jonathan on Sunday, August 11th, when he passed away as a result of injuries sustain from an incident on Friday, August 9th, when he was struck by an automobile on the eve of the Unadilla National, where he was entered to compete in the 250 Class.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Road 2 Recovery, in Jonathan’s name.

In addition to the Celebration of Life Service, Jonathan’s friends and family will host a candlelight vigil following the Budds Creek National at 8:30 pm in the staging area of Budds Creek Motocross Park.  The entire paddock is welcome to attend.
