Watch: Ryan Sipes Triumphant at Ironman 125 All Star Finale
The 12th and final round of the 2019 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship was destined to be one of the most competitive and compelling races of the summer, and sandwiched in between the final sets of motos of both the 250 Class and 450 Class was the finale of the hugely popular 125cc All Star Series. With a massive and enthusiastic crowd on hand, the loaded field of 2-strokes brought a familiar smell that traversed through Ironman Raceway, setting the tone for an exciting showcase of these iconic machines at the STACYC Stability Cycle Ironman National.
The action was some of the best of the season, but it was to no ones surprise to see a familiar name leading the way. Veteran racer Ryan Sipes has become arguably the most well-rounded dirt bike racer in the world, and the Kentuckian made the most of his lone entry into the 125 All Stars this season by capturing the Ironman victory, to the delight of the thousands of fans in attendance. Sipes outlasted the pressure from a slew of fellow KTM-mounted riders, with fellow Kentuckian Wyatt Liebeck in second and Wisconsin native Jack Chambers rounding out the podium in third.
