The 12th and final round of the 2019 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship was destined to be one of the most memorable races of the summer. With the championship yet to be decided in the 250 Class, Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki's Adam Cianciarulo and Monster Energy/Star/Yamaha Racing's Dylan Ferrandis both had business to take care of as both chased their chance to hoist the Gary Jones Cup for the very first time. Over in the 450 Class, despite successfully defending the Edison Dye Cup for the second time, Monster Energy Kawasaki's Eli Tomac was guaranteed to have a fight on his hands from Team Honda HRC's Ken Roczen and Red Bull KTM Factory Racing's Marvin Musquin, as both riders were in search of a runner-up finish in the final standings. As expected, starts proved crucial to the success of each of these riders at the STACYC Stability Cycle Ironman National.

In today's landscape of American motocross, starts are arguably more important than they've ever been before, and nothing feels better than capturing the MotoSport.com Holeshot. Starts are serious business, and grabbing the holeshot is the ultimate reward for a rider who took full advantage of his gate pick, reaction time, launch, upshifting, and clean entry and exit from the first turn.

See how the final four motos of the 2019 season began with a recap of the Ironman holeshots across both the 250 Class and 450 Class.
