The third round of the 2020 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship is underway in Indiana, with qualifying complete at the Guaranteed Rate Ironman National from Crawfordsville's Ironman Raceway.

For the first time in his 450 Class career Monster Energy Kawasaki's Adam Cianciarulo led the way in the premier class. The rookie was the lone rider to post a lap under two minutes and 10 second with a top time of 2:09.464, followed by point leader Zach Osborne and his Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing machine at 2:10.264. Red Bull KTM Factory Racing's Marvin Musquin rounded out the top three with a time of 2:10.687, while reigning three-time champion Eli Tomac was 13th aboard his Monster Energy Kawasaki (2:13.516).

In the 250 Class, the Monster Energy/Star/Yamaha Racing squad continued its hot start to the season, with Shane McElrath earning the fastest qualifier for the first time with his new team. McElrath's time of 2:13.107 narrowly prevented teammate and point leader Dylan Ferrandis from a third straight top qualifier honor, with the Frenchman just a tenth behind at 2:13.273 for second. GEICO Honda's Jeremy Martin was third with a time of 2:15.016.
