The 2020 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship reached its halfway point with a historic doubleheader from legendary RedBud MX over Labor Day weekend. The fourth and fifth rounds of the season presented a unique challenge for the world's best riders, with just two days of rest between races. Combine that with the demanding layout at RedBud and you have arguably the toughest test of the championship.

With such unique dynamics surrounding the Circle K RedBud I & II Nationals, getting a start would prove to be crucial in the effort to conserve energy across the doubleheader and get the most out of each gate drop. It was no surprise to see the weekend's winners at the head of the pack to start the four motos in both the 450 Class and 250 Class, showing once again how important the first moment of every race is to each individual rider's success.
