The annual visit to the high altitude of Colorado's Thunder Valley Motocross Park is always one of the most anticipated races of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship and this year it hosted the penultimate round of the 2020 season. Cool fall temperatures made for ideal racing conditions at the WPS/FLY Racing Thunder Valley National and it produced some of the most competitive action of the championship across both the 450 and 250 Classes.

The event produced stellar outings from Monster Energy Kawasaki's Adam Cianciarulo, who missed out on a third win via tiebreaker, and a career-best effort from Team Honda HRC's Christian Craig, who finished fifth. The series supporters at GoPro were on board with both riders, in addition to JGRMX/Yoshimura/Suzuki Racing's Alex Martin.
