NBC Sports Talk: Can Anyone Challenge Roczen and Ferrandis?
Two rounds into the 2021 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship there's been a clear standard set in the 450 Class by the international duo of Team Honda HRC's Ken Roczen and Monster Energy/Star/Yamaha Racing's Dylan Ferrandis. The German and the Frenchman have each captured an overall victory, as Ferrandis kicked off the season with a win in his first premier class moto while Roczen has amassed a three-moto win streak. The early season success has been well-earned as well, as both riders have withstood challenges from the likes of Monster Energy/Star/Yamaha Racing's Aaron Plessinger, Troy Lee Designs/Red Bull/GASGAS Factory Racing's Justin Barcia, Team Honda HRC's Chase Sexton, and Monster Energy Kawasaki's Adam Cianciarulo.
The broadcast team for the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship on MAVTV Motorsports Network and NBC Sports Network got together to discuss the early dominance showcased by Roczen and Ferrandis entering the GEICO Motorcycle High Point National. See what Jason Weigandt, Grant Langston, and Ashley Reynard had to say heading into the third round of the 2021 season.
