The third round of the 2021 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship is well underway at High Point Raceway, under the threat of rain across the surrounding area. The weather stayed clear through the morning practice and qualifying sessions at the GEICO Motorcycle High Point National, where a pair of familiar names once again positioned themselves atop the time sheets.

In the 450 Class, point leader and Team Honda HRC rider Ken Roczen led the way for his second straight fastest qualifier. The German's time of 1:59.440 made him the only rider to post a sub-two minute lap, followed by Monster Energy Kawasaki's Adam Cianciarulo followed in second (2:00.398) and Team Honda HRC's Chase Sexton in third (2:01.426)

In the 250 Class, Monster Energy/Star/Yamaha Racing's Justin Cooper backed up his fastest time from a week ago with his second straight top time. The winner of the previous round led the way with a time of 2:01.738, which put him ahead of Team Honda HRC's Hunter Lawrence in second (2:02.022) and Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing's RJ Hampshire in third (2:02.025).
