In a big week of announcements for the team, Monster Energy/Star/Yamaha Racing has announced via Instagram that high profile amateur racer Levi Kitchen will make his professional debut at the Twisted Tea RedBud National. While Kitchen will look to add to his collection of AMA National Championships at the AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship from Loretta Lynn's in August and formally bring his amateur career to a close, he and the team will take advantage of the "Rider Eligibility Rule" for the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship that allows an amateur to compete in three Nationals, or earn a minimum of 40 professional points, and still retain their amateur eligibility.

Following the conclusion of the 40th running of Loretta Lynn's, Kitchen, who happens to be a native of Washougal, Washington, will contest the final five rounds of the 2021 Pro Motocross season at Unadilla, Budds Creek, Ironman, Fox Raceway, and Hangtown.
