Southern California's Pala Casino Spa & Resort will become title sponsor of the season opening Fox Raceway National on May 24.
MX Sports Pro Racing, Inc., in conjunction with event organizer 2X Promotions, has announced that Pala Casino Spa & Resort will serve as title sponsor of the opening round of the 2025 Pro Motocross Championship, sanctioned by AMA Pro Racing. The Pala Casino Fox Raceway National Presented by Fox Racing, will kick off the second half of the SuperMotocross World Championship regular season from Fox Raceway at Pala on Saturday, May 24, during the Memorial Day holiday weekend.
The addition of tribal support for the National signifies a strengthening of the longstanding partnership between the Pala Band of Mission Indians, 2X Promotions, and the Pro Motocross Championship in making Fox Raceway the official Southern California home of American motocross. The track’s history now spans 15 years and the growing importance of Fox Raceway to the championship has been evidenced through its hosting of the first and/or last round of the championship every year since the 2020 season.
“Without the Pala Band of Mission Indians and their unwavering commitment to Fox Raceway this incredible event simply wouldn’t be possible,” said Myron Short, Event Organizer, Fox Raceway National. “They are the unsung heroes in making this track and this event the home for Pro Motocross in Southern California. I am grateful for their increased support in bringing the Pala Casino Fox Raceway National to our amazing fanbase and the industry, and we look forward to working alongside them to kick off the new season on a high note.”

With its sprawling layout nestled amidst the looming presence of the Palomar Mountains, Fox Raceway is unlike any other venue in American motocross. The desert setting provides some of the most challenging race conditions racers will face all summer, but its dynamic mix of high-speed sections, technical corners, and dramatic elevation changes lends itself to great battles throughout the field. Not to mention, Fox Raceway is one of the most popular destinations for testing and training amongst the SoCal contingent of athletes, manufacturers, and teams, making it a proverbial home race for a large swath of the industry.
The expansive global reach of the Pro Motocross Championship will bring worldwide attention to Pala Casino Spa & Resort, thanks in large part to a passionate and loyal fanbase in the U.S. that will watch the action unfold via Peacock as well as a growing international audience representing more than 130 different countries across the globe who will tune in via the Super Motocross Video Pass, which features dedicated Spanish and French simulcasts with native speaking commentary teams. That reach is complemented by nearly two million followers on social media and an exceptionally talented field of international athletes chasing their dream in the world’s most prestigious championship.
“The Pro Motocross Championship is the pinnacle of off-road motorcycle racing, and we are grateful for the extended partnership we have had with both 2X Promotions and MX Sports Pro Racing,” said Honorable Chairman, Pala Band of Missions Indians, Robert Smith. “The excitement surrounding the Fox Raceway National provides an ideal opportunity to bring attention to Pala Casino Spa & Resort and we wish all the racers and fans a wonderful, safe weekend here at the village.”
The 2025 Pro Motocross Championship, sanctioned by AMA Pro Racing, will continue the SMX World Championship regular season with 11 rounds of captivating summer competition from the most famous racetracks in America, with many boasting legacies that span upwards of five decades. The season will get underway this Saturday, May 24, from Fox Raceway at Pala and will traverse the country, across every time zone, before concluding in the shadow of Washington D.C. from Southern Maryland’s Budds Creek Motocross Park on August 23.
