Triumph Factory Racing has announced that team racers Austin Forkner and Jalek Swoll will both miss extended time due to significant injuries for both athletes. Forkner is recovering from surgery to repair the broken hand he suffered at the Houston Supercross and will look to make a return in time to contest the 250SMX Class in the Pro Motocross Championship. Swoll will undergo surgery to repair an Achilles injury suffered during the Birmingham Supercross, which will bring a heartbreaking end to his comeback campaign. It is the second time Swoll has endured through an Achilles injury within the past 14 months, with each leg being affected.
