Charli Cannon Suffers Fractured Shoulder Blade at Australian MXW Round

The reigning Australian MXW Champion crashed while attempting to pass Lala Turner for the lead at the second round of the overseas campaign.
Quad Lock Honda's Charli Cannon, the reigning WMX runner-up and winner of the most recent round of the WMX season, announced on Instagram that she suffered a fractured scapula while competing at the second round of the Australian MXW Championship. The defending National Champion was battling for the lead in Moto 1 alongside her WMX championship rival Lachlan Turner when the two came together and crashed. Cannon suffered the injury in the incident but finished the moto and continued racing, ultimately recording a second-place finish. Whether or not she'll be forced to miss any races has yet to be confirmed.
