Baggett and Ferrandis Top Qualifying at RedBud I National

The fourth round of the 2020 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship is underway in Michigan, with qualifying complete at the Circle K RedBud I National from RedBud MX.
For the first time since the 2018 RedBud National, Rocky Mountain ATV/MC-WPS-KTM's Blake Baggett led the way in the premier class. His fastest lap of 2:03.759 came during the first session, followed by Monster Energy Kawasaki 's Adam Cianciarulo with a 2:03.765 and reigning three-time champion Eli Tomac clocking a 2:03.804 in third. Both Cianciarulo and Tomac recorded their quickest laps in the final session.
In the 250 Class, the Monster Energy/Star/Yamaha Racing squad continued its hot start to the season, with championship point leader Dylan Ferrandis earning the fastest qualifier for the second time this season. Ferrandis's time of 2:03.508 edged out teammate Justin Cooper, with Cooper more than a second behind at 2:05.128 for second. Ty Masterpool was third in his season debut with a time of 2:05.494, giving Monster Energy/Star/Yamaha Racing the top three spots.
