Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Jason Anderson has sustained a broken hand following a practice crash that took place in his home state of New Mexico in preparations for the second round of the 2021 season. Anderson is expected to miss six to eight weeks of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, beginning with the Toyota Thunder Valley National.

“It’s very unfortunate that Jason had a crash while practicing [in New Mexico], resulting in a broken right hand," said Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing Team Manager Stephen Westfall. "We wish him a speedy recovery and look forward to having him back to the races ASAP.”

Anderson earned a resilient sixth-place finish at the opening round of the season and sat sixth in the 450 Class standings.
