Alex Martin Defies Odds to Make Return at Spring Creek

After suffering a severely broken right arm that resulted in an oblique displaced fracture of his ulna and radius that was expected to sideline him for the remainder of the season,  Manluk/Rock River/Merge Racing Yamaha's Alex Martin has defied the odds in his recovery and has confirmed his return to racing for the Spring Creek National, his home race at the track owned by his parents. The veteran rider underwent same-day surgery following his injury at the Thunder Valley National (June 5) and was back on the bike just 26 days later (July 2), which coincidentally is also his racing number. Martin has continued to test the limits of his surgically repaired arm and will join his brother, Jeremy Martin, and the rest of the 250 Class field at Spring Creek, 42 days after plates and screws were inserted to stabilize and reset the break.
