2022 High Point Qualifying - Pro Motocross Championship

The East Coast debut of the 50th Anniversary of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship is underway with the Lucas Oil Stabilizer High Point National. The fourth round of the 2022 season features partly sunny skies and cool temperatures, which has translated into a competitive start to the day in qualifying.

The 450 Class time sheets were topped by Monster Energy Kawasaki's Jason Anderson, who stormed to the top of the standings in the final session with a lap of 2:02.662 to lead the way. He edged out Monster Energy Star Yamaha Racing's Eli Tomac by a mere three hundredths of a second (2:06.692), while championship leader and Team Honda HRC rider Chase Sexton sat a few tenths behind them in third with a time of 2:03.046.

In the 250 Class, defending champion and current point leader Jett Lawrence put his Team Honda HRC machine in the top spot with a time of 2:06.664 in the final session, which placed him just two thousandths of a second off of the time Anderson posted in the premier class. Fellow Team Honda HRC rider Hunter Lawrence followed a tenth behind in second (2:02.714), with Monster Energy Star Yamaha Racing's Justin Cooper completing the top three (2:03.145).
